In the weekend of January 18th 2014 the 21st edition of the biggest oldtimer event of the Benelux, InterClassics & TopMobiel, took place in MECC Maastricht.
For the first time, this was done on a surface of 33.000 m².
The main theme “100 Years Maserati” supported by “Mustang Big Screen Heroes” and “Pre War Race Legends” attracted 27.974 visitors to the MECC in Maastricht.
This means an increase of 27% compared to the successful 2013 edition.
During the 2014 edition, a lot of exclusive cars were exposed. In Collaboration with the Maserati Club Holland, Maserati Benelux, and the 3 official Dutch Maserati dealers, TopMobiel presented the 100 Years of Maserati thanks to iconic cars from the past and in the presence of the latest range, with the new Quattroporte and Ghibli as displayed models. The Iconic cars were supplied by Matteo Panini, private collectors and the Louwman Museum. Amongst the iconic cars there were a 8CM Monoposto Grand Prix Car, the Eldorado 420M58, a Tipo 61 Birdcage, the A6GCS Berlinetta Pinin Farina and the 6CM.
Maserati, who is celebrating its Centennial Year, used this opportunity to award the successful Maserati Club Holland by giving them the official Centennial Award.
This awards, thanks the club for its continuous support and passion during the past year. In the Netherlands, the Maserati Club Holland works closely together with Maserati Benelux, Driessen Maserati in Eindhoven, Louwman Exclusive Cars in Utrecht and Munsterhuis Sportscars in Hengelo.
